It was piloted by veteran racer Paul Gentilozzi of Michigan at Bonneville this year, and set a new speed record for its class at more than 225 mph. It looks like it could be driven to the grocery story, except for the spoiler and parachute on the back.

The City Car designers from the MIT Media lab envision their vehicle as part of a new urban transportation ecosystem. The Audi R8 is a mid-engined sports car released by the German automaker Audi. The R8 was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on September 30, 2006.
The European Audi R8 will be the first production vehicle to feature all-LED headlights - you can see the reflection in the window..
Audi is a sponsor of the football club FC Bayern München. Therefore you can find the car in the so called "Markenwelt" (World of Brands), a shopping mall in the Allianz Arena, home of the two professional Munich football clubs FC Bayern München and TSV 1860 München.
